Blue Iris ActiveX Control is a legacy browser plug-in from Perspective Software that enables Microsoft Internet Explorer to display and control live and recorded video from a Blue Iris video security server. It provides low-latency streaming, audio support, PTZ camera control, multi-camera views, and clip playback directly within the browser. The control is typically installed alongside Blue Iris or delivered when accessing the Blue Iris web interface via Internet Explorer.
Designed for Windows environments, this component relies on ActiveX and is supported only in Internet Explorer. Because ActiveX is deprecated and not supported by modern browsers, the control is intended for legacy deployments and may be restricted by contemporary security policies.
